What if we turned some of our stories, jokes, and characters into actual games? Not sprawling MMORPGs (yet), but short, simple games we could make and share before Yuletide. Just a little bit of interactive magic to make our meta=fictional world even more fun.

We have come up with nine game ideas so far, and they are spread across three formats. But before we build anything, we want to know what kind of game you would most enjoy.

Would you rather:

  1. Play a tabletop-style game? Think printable cards, worldbuilding maps, or a cheeky deduction game involving cursed cargo and tea-fuelled drama. Games you can play on your own or with friends, with nothing more than paper and your wits.

  2. Explore an interactive story? We’re talking about visual novels and branching narratives where you investigate ghostly mysteries, choose your Resilience role, or try not to get roasted by Barry during a fictional job interview. Think light reading meets light gameplay.
